Duck Foot Brewing Company launches a new collaboration brew with local underground skate group, the Old Bros. Meet the Old Bro dry-hopped hazy pale ale, a crushable, post-sesh brew inspired by the antics of its namesake. The can release, available March 1st, features 25 different designs that highlight vintage skate images from photographers like J. Grant Brittain and Jim Alesi, transferred right from film to can.
From the 70s until this very day, the Old Bros found their own adventures, built their own boards, and ripped past sundown—all while wearing tube socks and board shorts. Every can tells a different story, and every 4-pack will feature a unique mix of photography.
Though memories of those days pour out clear, this Pale Ale pours decidedly (and deliciously) hazy. A golden color shines through, with an amazingly fruity aroma gained from a generous amount of dry-hopping. Ramped up for your sessionable drinking pleasure with five different hop varieties from around the world, you’ll pick up big notes of tropical fruits, melon, and berries before dropping in.
The Miramar brewery will be offering a limited amount of collector’s 25-Packs, complete with every single can design and available starting March 2nd.
To celebrate the initial Old Bro launch, Duck Foot has lined up a month of events touring up the coast from their East Village eatery all the way to the iconic SoCal SkateShop in Mission Viejo. View the entire schedule HERE, with locations and details below:
