    The East Village Association is celebrating the grand opening of Knotty Brewing with a neighborhood social and FUNdraiser for the EVA Landmark Sign on Wednesday, September 14th from 4 to 8 pm. Enjoy Happy Hour specials and $3 pints on 24 drafts. Mix and mingle with your neighbors for barrels of fun.

  • Do the Ride Thing Launches in East Village

    The East Village Association (EVA) hopes to alleviate some of the stresses of parking downtown with the launch of a new mobility campaign called Do the Ride Thing. Do the Ride Thing is a campaign focused on creating solutions for mobility and parking in East Village by encouraging locals and visitors to try a different method of transit when traveling to the downtown neighborhood.

  • East Village-opoly On Sale Now at Various Businesses

    The East Village Association (EVA) is thrilled to announce the sale release of the 1st edition of East Village-opoly—a fun and creative local spin on the classic board game. The goal of the EVA is to sell 1,000 board games by end of year. Proceeds from East Village-opoly board game sales will benefit the East Village Landmark Sign project and other EVA community programs.

Ballpark Village Crane Removal & Street Closures August 31-September 2

August 18, 2016 Ballpark Village project will remove their north tower crane on August 31st, September 1st, and September 2nd between the hours of 6 am and 7 pm. Park Boulevard will be closed in the northbound direction from Imperial Avenue to 11th Avenue, and one westbound lane will be closed on Imperial Avenue between 11th Avenue and Park Boulevard.

Zipcar partners with San Diego LGBT Community Center to help drive equality forward

July 1, 2016 Pride 2016 is finally here! Zipcar has partnered with the San Diego LGBT Community Center to drive acceptance and equality forward for the LGBTQ community by donating $1 per hour made on our rainbow branded Pride Zipcars during the Pride month of July. Two Pride vehicles can be reserved in San Diego —a Ford Escape named “Icedtea” at Strata Apartments and a Ford Focus named “Yelp” at the UCSD Hillcrest Medical Center.
