East Village Subdistricting Initiative

To continue our commitment to building a strong brand identity, the East Village Association is launching a new initiative to gather community feedback and support for a subdistricting project in East Village San Diego. Encompassing over 130 city blocks, East Village is the largest neighborhood in Downtown San Diego, and the Association aims to strengthen the overarching identity and brand of the neighborhood through the creation of subdistricts. Through community workshops, five (5) subdistricts will be delineated by specific boundaries and names, with the intention of developing individual logos and color schemes for each.

The East Village Association Board of Directors and staff invite you to participate in one or all of the upcoming community workshops. Following these workshops, staff will compile the recommendations and finalize subdistrict boundaries and names to present at the final community meeting at Quartyard.
