Fault Line Park

Located on Island Avenue between 14th and 15th Streets, Fault Line Park was the first park established in the East Village neighborhood. Spanning across 1.3-acres, this park was built on top of a strand of the Rose Canyon Fault system which park goers can see through the walkway that depicts the general line of the fault.

One of the special features of the park is the “Fault Whisper,” two large 7-foot mirror-finishes stainless steel spheres located on each side of the walkway meant to monitor the Rose Canyon Fault system.
