Australian-based fitness training studio F45, a popular exercise venue offering high-intensity circuit training workouts, is now open in Park 12 – The Collection, a Greystar luxury apartment and retail community in San Diego’s East Village.

Set to be complete this spring, Park 12 – The Collection features a ground floor selection of premier retail, restaurant and lifestyle tenants, along with one luxury high-rise and three mid-rise buildings with direct access to Petco Park for San Diego Padres baseball games and other special events.

“Adding F45 to our list of lifestyle tenants offers residents of Park 12 – and all San Diegans – the opportunity to experience one of the world’s most popular workouts, right in the heart of East Village,” said Jerry Brand, senior managing director of west coast development for Greystar.

In a series of grand opening festivities on March 8 and 9, global icon and fitness guru Paige Hathaway was present for meet and greets, as well as George Chmiel, F45 owner and operator of three studio locations. Additional retail tenants now open or soon-to-open at Park 12 – The Collection include Holy Matcha, Carmelita’s and Creamistry.

“With over 1,400 studios in 40 countries, F45 is the world’s leader in technologically advanced group fitness. Our program marries functional movements with high intensity interval training (HIIT) to provide all the same benefits of personal training, but in a much more engaging and exciting team atmosphere, and at a much more affordable rate. The social component and fun factor within an electric 45-minute class is off the charts, but it’s the one-on-one instruction from our elite staff of personal trainers that sets the East Village location apart,” said Chmiel.

The Park 12 venue – at 201 Park Plaza, Suite 115 – marks the company’s 11th San Diego location, and is the company’s first studio in East Village. For more information, visit:
